Paul McCartney wrote it in 1957.
He sang it in Decca session in 1962 and he is fantastic!!!
He's got a great voice as usual!!!!!

Great Lennon-McCartney composition performed by one of the most underrated British groups of the early 60's. Living in a region of the states where the Applejacks got zero radio air-play, I feel so fortunate to have discovered this talented group who obviously enjoyed playing together and enjoyed playing for their audience. It really comes through in their sound. I never grow tired of hearing this one and "Tell Me When".

@beatleholic13 What does that even mean?
-
Was this written for them, or did the Beatles record it?
-
@beatles9013 Sorry for DECCA yes, they made the biggest mistake of turning down the Beatles but they did signed the Stones which they did made profit but the Beatles are more better and achieved more succes than the Rolling Stones.

i will play this over and over love it all ways have god bless the sixtys

I think hey should have released this already in 1963, they would have scored much better with it then.

@aerztin13 The Beatles version speaks to the audience better

this version is more poppy. i prefer mccartney's voice, more bluesy on the demo version. but both rock!

Concuerdo que nadie superara jamas a los beatles:D
pero que es una digna interpretacion Si..
tambien la tocan chido:D
I don't think we should be so hard on the poor Decca executive. I mean, I am a great fan of the Beatles, but according to George Martin, the first time he heard them, they were "crap". But he could see potential in them.
