Ultimate Survival Technologies, Strikeforce. I have carried this for 3 months. Snow, rain and cold, It has not failed me. I would bet my life and the lives of my family on this. If I could only carry one fire starting tool, THIS would be the one. Also the StrikeForce can be used when damp. If wet, just wipe off and it will work. It does not have to be bone dry to light.

  • This video shows the rod at the old length. They recently made the rod about 1/2" shorter as well as making the diameter smaller... almost to the point where the device is useless. This company used to be amazing.. everything they made was made well, but now they are more concerned with keeping prices the same that they are having to make it to a lesser standard. The rod is so small and short now that you might as well just buy one of those $3 Coghlan firestarters at walmart and save ur money

  • @SURVIVALISTNUTCASE sorry to hear that. The parent company is not carring that line anymore. They are sold out of a place in Fla now. I wondered if there would be changes. Can you put up a video on this? I will link to it. Thanks for the update!

  • good video..im buying one now

  • @joshua6200 AHHHH now I can not say. I have used mine, and it looks no smaller! I would say it will last many many years. If used for SURVIVAL. it will out last you. IF used for camping, It would last many many years.

  • @RichTheRidgeHunter I know depending on use, but how long do these usually last? thanks.
