  • The RIGHT WAY TO DO IT? no...

However, I have a car that I plan on keeping for another year or possibly two at the most so to make it look better than before, this method worked very well. Will it last long? no. neither will my car though, so thank you sir for this bush-league yet helpful method. I personally found it helpful.

  • I cant stop laughing at your video. this is a joke isnt it ??

  • @NiteStar131 I'm a country boy myself, but if I saw anybody doing that, I'd beat them to death with a hay bar. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. and I'm driving a truck that is older than half the president's cabinet. If you're in a vehicle you don't care about giving a decent repair to, you probably shouldn't have it in the first place.

  • stick to stir the bondo, cardboard mixing board, and drilling holes for the bondo to "set". C'mon man, really? I mean it's your car, do what you do, but it's not gonna last. The bondo wicks water which is why you get the rust bubbles, lifting, things of that nature. I understand making do with what you have, but really?

  • Great job, sometimes you have to make do with what you have.

  • Good on ya for giving it a go, but this will not last very long at all untill rust bubbles through your paint and you having to do it all again. Fair enough having no access to a welder but if you want any sort of lasting effect, you MUST remove all the rust you can and treat it or else it will be back before you know it

  • I will say i had my doubts at first but it did turn out pretty decent looking other then the paint match i think that people that cant afford a welder or cant pay someone to do body work would find this very usefull. I think people should stop hating on other people i meen shit at least you tried alot of people wouldnt of tried so thumbs up to you bro.

  • This may be the "country boy" method but it works, will last a couple years before it all falls out which is about as long as the car or truck will be kept...You want to spend more then buy sheet steel and cut panels and build your own latches, ot buy premade panels, to be honest will last about the same length of time... This is a good example of how someone can achive acceptable results who lives on an income and can't afford to drop a bundle on a work car, good job

  • Wow.. came out better than I expected.. First thought was.. uh.. isn't it going to rust from the inside out now?.. but I guess you don't care.

  • guarenteed till in leaves the driveway.
