How to catch a plasma grenade

me and my friend were messing around in forge and i caught his plasma grenade with my spiker grenade and stuck him in the thigh

if the grenades in halo 3 were real and this happened in real life the outcome would be a little different, the two grenades would be ether the spikes on the spike grenade would pierce the plasma grenade and explode, or the plasma would stick to the spike and fall down.
