Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Foot? By The Kingston Trio

The actual album title of this song is "Who's Gonna Hold Her Hand?", though folk aficionados will quickly recognize it as a pop adaptation of the traditional song titled here, whose best-known version is probably that of Woody Guthrie. It has also been adapted by a large number of other artists.

This version was created by sole surviving Trio member Bob Shane with his good friend and songwriting partner the late Tom Drake. The two created seven other KT songs, most of them like this one derived from traditional songs.

@ralbiruni - merci pour l'observations, ralbiruni! Je conviens, et j'aime la version de "Santiano" par Auffray - c'est aussi charge d'emotion, comme plusieurs des chansons des Auffray - et le K trio. (J'espere que ma grammaire est correcte!)

@ralbiruni je ne partage pas votre avis sur la popularité du KT en France par l'intermédiaire d'Hughes Aufray, qui cite toujours comme source d'inspiration Peter- Paul and Mary alors qu'ils sont très largement postérieurs au KT, notamment celui de Dave Guard;même ce ler KT a été plus que concurrencé en France par The Brothers Four (Greenfields;the green leaves of summer ou yellow bird) et démoli par Jacques Vassal qui le traite injustement de "variété folklorisante";
