I've been messing around with Blue Box-style sub octave fuzzes, fuzz circuits, octavia circuits, and all kinds of low pass filters for a while now, and I still believe you just can't beat the sound of the EHX Microsynth!

@shotgunndunn my channel is crude but there is a clip on it from a few years ago with a horn like sound. Since then I have revised and greatly improved it. As stands it has a voicing that is sort of synth/horn in texture and then a low/high pass filter. I still have not gotten around to posting the revised sound clips.
Combined with something like a Zoom or a Pod though and it sounds like a classic key mooger.

I don't think these units are all that great and no offense to your mod intended. A lot of the effects are just a delayed feedback path, modulated feedback path and pitch shifting. Hit it with some filters and you get to call it a synth?
The one I invented is far simpler but does far more IMO.

Can you mod an envelope filter with a cry baby, to adjust the speed with the wah?
