Watch Delia Smith show how to make her classic Christmas cake using her cake kit from Waitrose. Simply combine the pre-measured ingredients in the kit with some fresh ingredients for perfect results every time.
'Welcome, welcome to the Waitrose school of Christmas magic.
Delia: "You're just in time to make my much-loved Christmas cake. Take these very clever pre-measured ingredients and combine them with additional fresh ingredients.
Fine fruits and peels are pre-soaked in brandy, almonds perfectly chopped, and treacle measured.
Touch the surface with your little finger, and if it springs back, you've produced a winner.
Finally, feed the cake with brandy.
