I feel for this guy, but he's the one who gave up his job and his insurance. Didn't he know that many insurance companies don't cover pre-existing conditions? What did he THINK was going to happen when he came back?
I don't know if its offered in his state, but Cinergy Health covers individuals for $180 a month EVEN WITH PRE_EXISTING CONDITIONS!
We don't need Universal Health Care. 1. More companies should offer coverage of PECs. 2. Coverage shouldn't be tied to your job. 3We need Tort reform.

Our country should be able to help this man. Our system has no empathy. Nor do most people, unless they, too, are sick. How sad for all of us.

great work...as a canadian i take for granted our medical system. it has its flaws to be sure, but fundamentally we believe that the health of the nation is founded on the health and nurturing of its citizens.

That's really funny how the Obama plug is so rushed in like the last .645254 seconds at the end. ;) good stuff man
..of course what no politician will tell you is that it's only HR 676 that would truly make a universal health system akin to the rest of the world, not any presidential policy. And Obama is going to continue Bush's wiretapping. He said so by voting for it. So we're fucked with him of course; it's just that we're fucked less. So! Obama '08! :)
