  • I feel an emotional effect when I listen to jarzombek sometimes. This song it happened at 3:20 - 3:23. About Face is another one that got me.

Yeah I get what you mean. It has everything to do with what chords and scales you're using. If you notice right after it's over, he goes into a frenzy of the whole tone scale. To me it sounds like at 3:20 - 3:23 he's doing a major scale over some minor 2nd interval chords.

It seems like even after that little melody is over, it sticks with you for a while after. It all has to do with phrasing. Thanks for commenting I'll be uploading the rest of the album soon. Keep on a look-out.

  • anyone can make a tab of that fucking intro, most difficult thing i've ever listened omg

nice song. btw that 3:20 lol great composition

  • 3:20

    what the O.o

  • @jmann114 diminished (another symmetrical scale) I think, then into a very pretty sounding major scale for a second. He has other ones but that excerpt just stuck out. Not to say that I don't like the newer stuff that is comin from blotted science or anything, but I just love the pretty stuff. I consider Ron to be my number #1 inspiration/influence right now. His ideas are so out there that they're liberating. Makes me feel more comfy in thinking outside the box.

  • @jmann114 I noticed the whole tone for sure- jarzombek does seem to like that one. Whatever 3:20 is it is great. I like Ron's clean stuff. He puts his new stuff together in his no-theory visual method with all the 12 tones and stuff and its pretty radical. It's always interesting but not always easy on the ear. When he actually tries to play some consonant stuff it always sounds so pretty to me. Like the solo to multi masking. It starts off in whole-tone (symmetrical), then goes to -------
