You can get defined abs in weeks by following this simple ab workout in conjunction with a healthy diet. And you can do this ab workout without performing crunches or traditional situps. Routine can be done in as little as 10 minutes. The exercises are easy to perform, challenging, fun, and provide for a variety of modifications to increase difficulty. These abdominal exercises are by far the best for targeting the abs for a lean, cut, ripped looking six-pack for both males and females without the undue strain on the back and neck crunches and traditional situps can cause!

  • Instead of a total of three sets, is it safe to do six sets? For an example, three sets in the morning and three sets in the evening? Or three sets in the morning, lunch, and afternoon, or is that too much?

  • @sarailuv Your abs need about 24 hrs to heal. Theoretically you could do what you are saying. But the 3 sets is enough if you are doing them everyday. You may want to increase the reps, secs, and add/increase weight. If you work your abs you should work them in one exercise "sitting". You do not have to do all your ab exercises at once, so you can spread them through your workout time if you like, but you should not work abs once than hours later again which can be counter productive.

  • Good videa, i am training, but now i go this video follow:D But by step 4 i don't feel anything in by Abs? And i do it as 'the video' :( Can you pls answer?

  • @mvocr96k I beleive you are referring to the Russian or seated twist. The exercise works the oblique muscles which are your "side abs". They only really activate in a twist motion. Normally you will not feel the soreness in the obliques like you will the abs. But to increase intensity try twisting faster and leaning back further while keeping your back straight and not slouched. Could also raise feet in air too. Play around with the variations until you get a stronger feel.

  • Can you get a six pack by just doing normal situps (around 150 a day) and how long would it take??

  • @13TonyDude If you are real lean, of course. But your body will get use to the body weight. So its best to incorporate some weights while doing situps. But this could lead to injury of back or neck, that is why these lifts are better for incorporating extra weight for greater definition. You really need a diverse workout regiment not just doing situps. Ex: do push ups, than situps, than pull ups (if possible), standing dumbbell presses, calisthenics, gymnastic type moves. etc.
