  • @spacepatrolman ahhh ;) his voice is better than elvis's... lol at least to me anyway.

  • @aquasat02 interesting that you said elvis because when nick sang dont let go on the dawn album he was trying to sound like roy hamilton who was elvis friend and influence

  • @gardentractor Right he sings in a low baritone voice like the original singer of the song roy hamilton frankie sings high background parts nick did an interview on the do wop shop on wcbsfm with don k reid he said he still had some ideas for song arrangements that he wanted to try

  • in my 35 years of listening to the four seasons, i never heard nick massi sing a song with the group until i bought the dawn go away and 11 other great songs cd last week . the song he sings is called Don't let go. he sings the entire song in a more natural voice and he's really awsome! its my new favorite song by the 4 seasons and i've been humming it ever since. a nick massi solo album would have been a huge success on its own!!!!

  • I'd never heard The 4 Seasons, with Nick Massi on lead vocals, perform this song before! What a treat to hear Nick fronting the band with Frankie Valli supplying some excellent background singing!! Thanks for the post! Most enjoyable.

  • What a surprise to find this. Thanks alot from the UK.

  • Simply awesome! Thanks for posting this.

  • If the people who did the play "Jersey Boys" (which pays tribute to The Four Seasons) heard this, they should put this song in the play and have whoever plays Nick Massi sing the song as a tribute to him.

  • Nick Massi (born Nick Macciolo) does a great job with this song. He left us all too soon in 2000. In my opinion, he could have done well as a solo artist.

    Resto nella pace, caro amico.

(Rest In Peace, Dear Friend-in Italian).

  • RIP He died on this day
