  • Whats that white material in it made of?

  • Thir white material is caliche, a calcium carbonate deposit. It's entirely terrestrial, its here because the meteorite was partially buried and the calcium carbonate depots on it. Normally it's easy to take away using hicrochloric acid or acetic acid, but it will also attack the meteorite itself so I preffer to leave it on.
