when I bought my n64 my standar controler broke the same way in just a few months, and I took well care of my beloved n64 =(, does that yobo controller uses optical sensor as the standar n64 or potentiometers?

I have the exact same controller of the exact same color, and It worked with all my games. The only problem I found with it was when I played it on my friend's version of Goldeneye with it plugged into controller port 1. Other than that, I use it more than the official ones because the analog wasn't as loose.

So true... unless he's European, of course, because I'm pretty sure that the DK64-cartridges were gray here!
