Hey! even he said it. Wi-Fi is faster than 3G. Now I can prove that to some idiots who claim that 3G is faster.

Yea but wifi is limited to a hotspot, 3G has large coverage areas

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Wi-Fi took over data networks in cities. There are already cities in the USA that have city-wide wi-fi access.

It would make sense too. It's cheaper, faster, though less secure.

In other words, they couldn't find a cheap enough battery powerful enough to power the 3G for it.

Its funny how he said if they used 3G then you would refrain from using any of the features of the phone in order to not drain the battery so quick, because thats what I did with my iPhone 3G LOL. but now that the new 2.1 firmware is out, the battery life is much better where it should have been when the iPhone launched so I'm happy now.
