Megasquirt on VW Boxer (engine startup)

The first time that I start my engine with Megasquirt Mini-ms outside.
I install the megasquirt 40 days later and don´t do the tuning yet.
Engine: VW 1600 air-cooled.
Maybe 1800 in the future

what throttle body are you using? where can i get one?

Hello, I´m using a original VW Bus Throttle Body with the Bosch injectors 0280156086 29,5 lbs/h . I not sure, but I think that this throttle body was used in a Mexican Beetle. The injectors is used in a GM Flex (alcohol/Gasoline) here in Brazil.

Hello,

Thisis a Vocho (beetle) 1600

You can modify the engine change the pistons to 90,5mm or change a crankshaft.

The original VW crankshaft has 69mm you can use a 78,4mm to update your engine to 1800.

how do you deal with the distribuitor advance that use to work with carb???

do you know how can i convert by bug to EFI doing it myself i mean because the kits the sell are about $3000.00 dollars with that kind of money im better of buying a good used EFI bug here in mexico and avoid the hasle

Hello, I know many cars qith the dual TBI´s.

They are using to a original Solex 32 changed to use two injectores for side.

Here in Brazil we have a ECU´s like Fueltech, Pandoo, His and a lot of others and is very comom you see a Boxer IE. Try to search for Fueltech that you´ll find a lot of videos with Boxers with dual setup.
