Fire and Ice is a colorful and dramatic composition of oranges and blues. Hands of fire reaching through the column of ice to what they know to be there.

It reminds me of our innate ability to break out of our frozen state of complacency and back into the Real world.

I see some type of a serpent's head emerging from the ice on the left side of the painting where the fingers are. One of its eyes is revealed, mouth ajar with upper lip and lower jaw or chin. There are two stripes on its lower jaw. Continuing directly down I see what could be the rest of its body, with the ice about its neck
