Canon 5D Mark II Test Footage - Mauro's Moments

I've been playing with the 5D mark II for several months now and I continue to be impressed with the video quality. This footage was shot in about a 3 hour time span using a canon 500mm f4 lens and sachtler video head and gitzo tripod. I edited the footage in the field on a Mac Book Pro using Final Cut Pro.

Sorry for my ignorance, however, my research doesn't prove to be substantial enough to answer my question;

I'm playing around, and have been for a few months with a Canon 600D with a bog standard kit lens, however;

I've been thinking about moving to a Canon 5D for a while to shoot more professional videos.

Would the quality vary much? Or would that be defendant on the lens I use?

@meltdownman1 Well, easiest way is to ask the maker of the music, can you use it in your video, but often they don't allow it for free. Easiest way is often to make music by yourself, unfortunately....

Any advice for a newbie on how to select background music without infringing on copyright issues? I have not seen this topic covered and what is involved or where to go to be able to select bacground music. Is there some sort of clearing house that allows a cinematographer to go and select background music?
