This video is a rant in motion. I saw the original Bush/monkey comparison and i thought it was funny. Now, in a supposed post racial America, the color of a man's skin shouldnt affect the humor surrounding him. I made this because it was ok to compare a white man to a monkey, but for some reason people out there feel it is wrong to compare a black man to a monkey. We all evolved from them, so why is it such an issue to compare us to them? My point: skin color doesnt alter my decisions, it shouldnt alter yours!

The reason why the GWB version is funny is because time and time again GWB proved himself a moron.
You may not agree with Obama's politics, but the man is no moron. Therefore I did not find the Obama version funny.
It had nothing to with race, but rather mental ability. GWB's intellect is chimp like in its simplicity, while Obama is exceptionally intelligent.

@pudodrewculous Don't be ridiculous - of course it matters what happened in the '20s. Every comment, picture, and video is made in some sort of context; the context in which a black man is compared to a monkey is inherently situated in a racist context. Having said that, this is a nice, concise means of opening up the debate on the so-called 'post-racial' society.

i totally get the pictures put in this context, but if obahma wasnt president then i would find it a racist picture. imo the picture of obahma cant exist without the picture of bush as an offset.

meh, its a racist picture anyway... but thats kind of the point... both of the pictures should be offensive, but the one of Obama is viewed as the racist one... because hes black... and that should never be a reason nor an excuse for anything... 'because hes black' is imo the basis of a lot of racist feelings...
I like these pics because i've had so many different discussions about them. Everyone has a different take on em... In the end my take... everyone should be treated equally... period

I completely understand your point, however I believe that some of the people that may view the video will miss it entirely.
The only place of equality is in the eyes of God, and until we see people as created in His image, and until we value each individual for their very humanity, equality will continue to be an idealistic, elusive goal.
