@Temple420org As for the "gentile" thing, it's all semantics, I suppose. Sounds as though you were born & raised Jewish & identify with being Jewish by culture, but at the same time, it doesn't seem your beliefs are consistent w/ the Jewish faith. I do believe in the teachings of Jesus, but now believe he would be appalled at what has evolved in his name (the church). I don't agree that modern Christianity can be likened to sun-worshipping paganism.(I actually identify more so w/ the latter).

Christianty and the Church are sun worshipping pagans just like Emperor Constantine who's coin's stated "Sol Invictus." Yes, you are right about semantics re:church/gentile and my up bringing. Please tell one thing UN-Jewish about the Meshiac? Or how putting faith in Messiah is UN-Jewish or Not consisten with Jewish faith? Jesus taught Torah nothing else.

@Temple420org Love this show and l Iove this scene (oh how I wish I lived in Cali)...BTW, I am a "gentile", if I must be labeled as such...if you are a member of a "church for stoners" (which I'm all for, don't get me wrong)...would that not make you a gentile as well? (By definition, that is.)

@Jules91961 I am Jewish. Church Temple Shul....just a place to study the Word. I am Jewish and think Y'shua was HaMeshiac (the Messiah)....does that make me a gentile? I don't think so... In my opinion so-called Christians (if they are true followers of the Commandments and Torah) as Jesus (Y'shua) was are grafted into the Jewish faith--as Paul (Shu'el) stated....the branch is grafted on to the root, Isra'el. Modern Christianity is just pagan sun worship for the most part.

Temple420org Perhaps I need more insight into Judaism, but it has always been my understanding that Jews do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. I thought Jews were still awaiting the Messiah...but I am not exactly savvy about world religions. As for the Easter bunny, Xmas tree, etc., I get what you're saying...my point is that *they* don't believe they are Pagans, nor worshipping the sun. (I think Pagans are much less judgemental & there is no negative connotation w/ Paganism in my mind.)
