This is a very good deal for Youtube users in the since that Youtube was roughly spending $2 million a month to provide instant streaming video. Google has the free cash flow to continue to keep Youtube up and running while they figure out the advertising situation. I suspect that they will follow a similar business strategy they use on their search engine. Google already has a captive audience and gives Youtube corporate credibility to its advertisers.

I have no idea at this point. I hope they keep the format. They could make the pages more user friendly & sexy looking. I love creating thought provoking videos. The Youtube christians are not happy with me though lol. Nice to meet you Joe.

Hi John,
I ain't got time to make a video, but I think in the end, it will be very beneficial for both organisations, and the core values of youtube will remain.
