These cymbals can absolutely NOT handle metal. They dent and crumple like empty coke cans.I unfortunately own them and while their sound is amazing, they are simple not built to last. I play country with light glancing strikes, by the way.

Do you guys think this thing can get loud enough to play metal? Not sure the ping is defined enough to really get through 2 guitars. Love the wash though.

The gunk that builds up on it actually warms up the cymbal. If you polish it, it will probably get all bright and obnoxious again haha

We use the Yamaha 14x5.5 Brass Snare Drum with die cast hoops in 99.5% of our videos.
