A short film about Jane Seymour, third Queen Consort of King Henry VIII of England. I am aware that Jane's year of birth is disputed. Music is Aerith's Theme by Nobuo Uematsu

There are quite a few imitations of my Queen consort videos being created by other youtubers which I guess is quite flattering.

  • I honestly don't like Jane very much XD and I think Henry VIII only "loved" her because she gave him an heir, I disagree about her being fair I found her really ugly :S, it's a great video though I really like your vids =)

  • When I say Jane is fair, I mean she was very pale.. I agree that she does appear quite plain in her paintings.

  • RIP sweet Jane Seymour.

  • People are cruel to Jane Seymour, I think she was a better woman than Anne Boleyn in terms of a loving and nurturing nature but certainly not in greatness, I think Jane deserves more credit than she has, shame on everyone who talks down about her.

  • @Stargazer19 These accounts were among my reading material when I was a history major, I cannot recall which book. I suggest you go consult your library, they should be able to find the the eye witness accounts. You might also want to read the modern historians Eric Ives, Agnes Strickland and David Starkey. They have all claimed to find ample proof regarding her character. Eyewitness; ambassador Chapuys described her as "rather proud and haughty”, not as the meek caricature we know today.

  • @bubblinbrownsugar616 "His Royal Fat Ass".....I just about died when I read that. LOL!

And I totally agree with what you're saying. It seems like every time I watch a tudor vid there is bashing of one wife or another. They should *all* be respected for having to put up with a man like Henry.

  • @ladythalia Really? I mean, I'm sure she wanted marriage (like Anne did before her). But pushing Henry to execute Anne? I think we can all agree that Henry was pretty sick of "meddling women". Had she tried to do any finagling, I think Henry would probably have told her not to meddle (as he did to her during the pilgrimage of grace).

And I'd say the quick engagement is a bad reflection on Henry, not Jane. Where did you get your sources for Jane partying? I'd like to read them over, if I may.

  • @ladythalia hmmmm very interesting info here im going to have to conduct some research of my own and look into it more thanks for sharing ^^
