Polypropylene tests using raw PP resin inside a fuel cell, condenser and blubber to try to control burned off electrolyte and vapor leeching into my engine. Part one of a small series.

  • hi guy.

Some things you might want to note about using this type of thermometer , when you take a reading using the infrared beam, you need to be aware that the beam will refract when on surfaces that are polished or shiny such as aluminiums, stainless steel, further they cannot measure through transparent surfaces such as glass, even acrylics, its called EMISSIVITY.

i use black dots, bottom/middle/top of my cells, you can use black mat tape too,

    thom, in scotland

  • Yea I have learned about that since I put this video up. I do have that cell wrapped in electricians tape. But i normally use that infrared for differential measurements only not for exact measurement.

But thanks for the info! It helps us all out!

  • Great Video

  • Thanks for the tip bro!
