This is one of the oldest pies around, goes back over 1000 years. It also has a number of variants such as Yogurt Pie, Sour Cream Pie and Eggnog Pie. More popular in the winter when there are no fresh fruits or berries.

I came in to watch the video again so I could write down the recipe .. I am going to make it this very minute. Butter is already melted and eggs coming to room temp. Will be having it tomorrow after lunch .. Yummy .. if it makes it through our breakfast. lol thanks for sharing
