You could also use tape if you got lazy/tired instead of sewing. Trust me, it works! Feel free to ask questions.

  • ok. another question. So (assuming you made the entire costume) what did you make the many (white colored) part of the costume out of? I used ployester/silk for the bow. Would that work in white as the main suit? Or should i use a different part of fabric? Thanks so much, this vid was super helpful! I successsfuly made a Sailor Mars bow! (working on the second one on the the back now!!) XD thanks!! ~Nya! ~~

  • @CocoRoseDoki For the main suit, we just wore white, fitted t-shirts. Congrats! Good luck!

  • making a Mermaid Melody bow now. U kno how the ones on the back of the dresses have long like "tail/end" things? How do i make those longer? I guess like the ones on the back of the Sailor Senshi costumes 2....thnks!

  • @CocoRoseDoki hmmm...not sure, maybe just extend the fabric ends?

  • So I'm attempting this. I want this bow (purple for Sailor Mars) to be on the front of the outfit (as opposed to the back). How long should the fabric be? REPLY QUICKLY! thanks!

  • @CocoRoseDoki I think 20 inches in length for the front.

  • My god this couldn't have taken more then a half hour even by hand! Looks surprisingly nice!

Very helpful, considering i have a last minute cosplay on hand. Good job!

  • THE PINK ONE IS SAIlOR JUPITER, MY FAVE!! I was her for halloween this year. You can just sew a piece of paper into a fabric and bunch it together then sew on the little piece of fabric in the middle and add another piece of fabric slipped in under the middle piece. Thats how we made it for Mini Moon, Pluto and Jupiter.

  • @aet523 I want to say nine inches? It depends on how big you want the back bow and have it proportional to your skirt.

  • @theoldversion I think I just looked up "how to fold a bow" on youtube and based it off that
