This is a demo of Noah's Ark Distortion "M" pedal. It's a Japanese made pedal and there aren't many outside Japan. It's basically a distortion pedal which has a British amp voicing to it. You can get some Marshall-ish tones with it.
It's a really transparent pedal, it'll retain much, if not all of your guitars character and the amps sonic character (but it can be a pain since it works so differently with different amps and it takes time to actually dial in something you really like, or many maybe I'm just too much of an ass to be satisfied)and it runs with very little noise, unless of course the level is pushed up real high.
This is recorded using an Epiphone Les Paul equipped with Seymour Duncan '59 and Custom 5 in the neck and bridge positions respectively and the signal chain goes like this;
Guitar - Crybaby 535 - Bad Monkey - Distortion M - DD-6 - CH-7 - NF-1 - Amp.

The amp is a Vox AD50VT with the model set to be a Blackface 2x10 (If I'm not mistaken that would be a Fender Blackface combo).

And pardon the bruised foot (or shall I say toenail, I didn't expect that to actually be there =.=ll) and the sloppy playing.

p/s ignore the stupid beeping sound in the background, thats my pc complaining for an update =.=ll

  • @pjlemon i know how you feel, i have a boss ds-1 distortion pedal... and even though people hate it... i never wanted to give it away or sell it... luckily i didn't cos i get a really good tone out of it through my 200 watt

  • I thought it was stereo initially...but i checked with my buddy's and it was the power supply...

    felt stupid at that moment

  • O, IM dumb thanks :)

  • that's not stereo distortion. The lower input is for the power supply

  • stereo distortion im digin the consept im likein' the pedal

  • i have one of these for sale - contact my utube acct - BuzzyFredrick

  • i dont have one but how does it sound when u add a little drive from the amp

    if u dont mind trying

  • damn it sound great!

  • I own one, the Marshal sound make me crush on!

although the "Gain" is not enough for metal

    it still need the booster.

Anyway, now I use Tubeman2 but I can't sell this pedal,

    I don't know why
