I tend to agree. We rely on scientists and experts for honest advice. What else can we do? To then learn that some of these scientists are deliberatley covering up the real data is beyond belief! What are their reasons for doing this? Man may well be having an impact on the environment but it would actually be nice to have an open debate, with honesty and scientific fact at its core, for us to all move forward and make the right decisions about what needs to be done.

@JMehrman, to be honest, I hope the US economy does shatter because I believe that capitalism is one of the most terrible systems that the earth has ever borne witness to. I think people should be in control of their resources and that there should be a system which embraces the production of useful things, not one which only seeks to produce commodities for exchange. We are united in that we are both opposed to a world gov't, but I still think the environment has been seriously damaged.

@YTSavedMyLife You're right in that policies shouldn't be crafted when there are reasons to be skeptical of data. It would be extraordinarily terrible to put in place policies which further set back the free and democratic development of impoverished countries. I don't support the bourgeois states imposing their will on the people of less economically advanced countries, simultaneously, I think it is dangerous for people to fall into the Alex Jone's trap that this is all a lie. Ya know?

That is precisely why our republic is falling apart. The propagandists (mainstream media, public schools, universities, mainstream entertainment) have done quite the number on you.

Well at any rate, you'll eventually see it for what it truly is soon. I'm beginning to realize that most are not interested in the absolute truth, just a version that sounds good, or if it matches in some superficial way to some other meaningless inflated LIE that serves a completely different purpose.

I, on the other hand, live in the real world. I am part of a society and would like to move towards making it better. If I had a choice, I don't want to be a slave to anything, however, at the moment, the US is a slave to OPEC and I want that to change.
