I love this song, so full of energy. But I heard the demo version and its way better than this one.

Heart-wrenching, which is probably why it is so good. Makes me tear up every time, though....

Am in love with the music of this band, but this song is very painful to hear. Like it, though.

Great song, but very sad...
The breakdowns @ 1:45 and 2:52 are big differences... but this isn't on the American version of the album... maybe it's on the one released overseas?

It wouldn't be surprising if they released The Back Room a little bit later in the US, since they were a small indie band at that time. Possibly after the Bullets single was released

can somebody tell me the difference between the 1 version and the 2 version``??

Well.. The sound is different. If I'm not mistaken, they rerecorded Bullets to the single-release, which resulted in version 2. The sound is a little thicker and heavier in the second version and differs a bit in the lyrics in the end. Version 1 seems to be a little bit repeatable as the chorus goes on the same all the time.

Version.2 is better

It sure is, and it should be as well :) It would be pretty stupid to make a new version of a song that turned out to sound worse than the original.
