"Süsse Mamsell, denkst du noch an das kleine Hotel"
"Sweet Mamsell, are you still thinking about that small hotel ...?"

Composed and written by Bronislaw Kaper and Fritz Rotter.
Bronislaw Kaper (1902 - 1983), a Polish-born composer of popular music.

Kaper met Walter Jurmann in Berlin in the late 1920s, and the two decided to work as a team, first in Berlin and then in Paris, France. On being offered a seven-year contract with MGM by Louis B. Mayer, Kaper and Jurmann emigrated to the United States, where they continued their work.

During his stay in Berlin, Kaper composed many songs and pieces of light music to the lyrics written by German authors, recorded on German labels and what is most important meant for German performers and German audience. Some of them attained such a level of popularity that they became well known also in other countries, Poland included, having been equipped in lyrics written in other languages (Polish included).
