  • If the chopper's a-rockin', don't come a-knockin!

  • Gona have to disagree. Take a look at the side view video. The failure starts in the rotor system. Fully articulated rotor system, oleo struts removed and chained to the ground equals ground resonance. And ya I guess 9 years trumps 25 plus in tandem rotor maintenance and design.

  • sex in helicopters should be prohibited

  • looks like

    frog :D

    2 engine is eyes.

  • how can i contact you?

  • i thought it went rather well.. while the rest of you argue like woman (no offense if you are one)

but please put your vagina lips away! they are meant for chatting on youtube you cock holes!

  • The imbalance is possible because multi-bladed helicopters include lag-lead hinges at the rotor hub to reduce stresses in flight. Under normal conditions, all blades are spaced at equal angles. Shocks to the rotor mast and hub can cause an imbalance if they are sufficiently violent. Note that two-bladed helicopters are not susceptible to ground resonance because they do not require lag-lead hinges. Two-bladed rotors remain balanced through all flight conditions.

  • Ground resonance, in fully articulated multi-bladed helicopters, is a hazardous condition during touchdown. A series of shocks to the landing gear can pass through to the rotor disk and cause an imbalance in the rotor system. Under extreme conditions, the imbalance causes violent oscillations that quickly build and result in catastrophic damage of the entire airframe. In some cases, complete destruction occurs, e.g. body panels, fuel tanks, and engines are all ripped from their mountings.

  • @dieslpower2

I guess you have made Uncle Sam proud. You are Incorrect...

  • Actually you are incorrect. As a Powertrain Repairer (15D/68D) for over 9yrs. We studied this video in depth is a combining transmission failure. So unless you have more time fixing CH-47's I would refrain from calling people dumbasses.

  • Dumb ass, it's a test of ground resonance. You can see that it's CHAINED to the ground. A gear box test to destruction doesn't work like that.
