Save Grand Marais MI Harbor Of Refuge

Residents and numerous travelers enjoy Grand Marais and Lake Superior. Storm-wearied boaters seek safety in Grand Marais harbor. Sadly, Grand Marais Harbor is filling in with sand at an alarming rate! The Harbor could easily disappear beneath the sand in as little as 3 to 10 years! Grand Marais desperately needs a new breakwall and dredging equipment to restore the Grand Marais Harbor and retain the charm and safety of this favored destination. Grant foundations are encouraged to consider contributing to the Burt Township Harbor Fund to Help Save Everyone's Harbor of Refuge! This is an edited version of the video submitted by pedalrat. Am checking with the Burt Township Supervisor, who has the original, longer version of this video that was made for Burt Township by Channel 6. Will let you know when I find out. This shorter version is for the Pepsi Refresh Project application. I plan to submit it early in 2011 when the Pepsi grant program resumes.
