凌光於調查一宗連環謀殺案期間突然昏倒，醒來後，不但發現自己失去了短期記憶，更發現他的好拍擋竟然死於同一現場，而他的拍擋更成為近日「連環放血凶案」的第三個受害者！­兇手每次都用最殘暴冷血的手法，令受害者被放血至死！而兇手每次殺人後都消失得無影無蹤，令警方完全束手無策。
