A dog that can climb a tree like a cat?
Defu, a one-year-and-a-half-old Belgium Malinois who lives in the Shiling pet market in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, has a unique skill of jumping and climbing.
Defu's owner said he always hangs the dog's food high on the branches of a tree to train his skills of jumping and climbing.
As a result, Defu can easily climb on a six foot wall or even higher. He also has a very good sense of balance, able to walk on the wall just like on the ground.
Generally speaking, dogs cannot climb trees, only some specially trained wolf dogs can climb trees six to 10 feet high, but Defu can climb more than 13 feet high.
Defu's owner says you must try to communicate with dogs instead of just offering them food to train them to climb trees.
