@nlomas I have a lot of foriegn friends and they ask me to help them with their English. One lady was pronouncing "month" as mumf, I corrected her and she indigntly informed me she studied English in England. I know a lady called Lavinia, and she is called Laviner by her English friends. David Attenborough was in Africur observing a gorillur. It would seem you replace "R" with "A" and vice versa Water becomes Walta, Austrailia becomes Austrailer etc. to sound posh I am told. Yes in French OUI.
