Overwhelmingly, the people of Massachusetts -- and the entire country -- have spoken in favor of COMPREHENSIVE clean energy AND CLIMATE LEGISLATION, but its future could still depend on a single vote in the Senate. I have a bit of a problem with the "green jobs" message. I think that to do what needs to be done to save humans from extinction is to do harm to the economy in the short run. "green jobs" says have you're cake & eat it too thru gov't intervention. The best solution is for gov't to tax carbon until gas is $100/gallon, use the revenue to pay off the national debt & otherwise stay out of the way of the free market.

This seems like a bogus reaction from sore losers who once again have failed outright to do their homework. Senator Brown's position on behalf of the people in regard to energy has been clear as drinking water from day one of his campaign. They just think they can drive a stake here. Most of THE PEOPLE do NOT agree with them although there is some common ground.
