  • nice lift, what is the best way to get results on the bench? would you say low rep high weight, or just do reps of 10? I can bench 300lbs for my max and haven't really seen any gains for a bit, I am doing 4 sets of reps 10-12.

  • @1onlytaz go heavy for fewer reps if you want to keep increasing your bench. A strong back is important to improving chest also.

  • How does one's wrist bones not break under the pressure? Everytime I do this exercise with 60lbs, my chest/arms can tolerate the actual exercise, but my wrists fucking kill me.

  • get a really good pair of wrist wraps

  • good lift i get the 150 for 12 to 14 reps but my stright bar is only about 435 for 1 i know some guy the get 150 for 12 reps that can bench 460.

  • That was last year, my bench is at 455 now. Just keep pushing hard. There is a vid in here of me benching 445 in a contest also.

  • @stronghrp thanks it seems to be working so far, got 100 dumbells on incline for 6. still along ways from 150 tho.

    No I think what he is trying to do is powerlifting form..That you tuck your arms inward to use your lats in the exercise so you can use more weight. I know cause I've tried this before and yes you can use more weight if you do it right.
