  • @tyrongkojy You don't think conservatives actually give a shit do you? All Santorum has to do is call this a "liberal media" ploy to discredit him, say something about Jesus, and complain about Obama and the conservatives will once again be creaming their pants to vote for him.

  • the mans a fuckin loser...what fuckin idiots are votin for him?

  • @LisaMarie137137 Than you know what you do? You lobby against money in politics, that's where the attention away from infrastructure is happening, that's the reason for the wars, that's the reason for your burning constitution. Ron Paul wanted America to default - remember that. His laissez faire attitude will result not in corporations having power of the politicians, they'll have power over you and your nation will be worse off for it.

  • @salamut2202 Our infrastructure is already crumbling. We cant keep spending money we dont have.We have lost our credit rating.Ron Paul is the only one that will try to balance the budget. All the other guys just spend money and start wars. These people do what they want and throw the constitution out the window. Now they are passing laws where they can arrest and in prison americans indefinitely.Flying unmanned planes around our cities. You are lucky they havent turned on your country.

  • The same way modern "conservatives" do, not fix it. Or perhaps wave their hands and claim that the markets, through some sort of wizardry or something, will solve all problems.

  • Sure, I accept your distinction. However, that should come with a lot of caveats. The people you're talking about are from a different era, and I don't think they have any more claim to the title "conservative" than modern Republicans claiming they're conservative.

People like Paul, Buckley and Goldwater might "care" about Santorumesque hypocrisy, but what would they do about it, how are they going to fix it?

  • @senortonyful Your word "conservative" is wrong. Replace it w/"reactionary right wing Republicans". True conservatives like Ron Paul, Buckley and Goldwater do and did give a shit. Today's average Republicans are not conservative and yes they don't give a shit about anything unless they can undeservingly profit from whatever it is they are bullshitting us about.

  • @LisaMarie137137 I won't vote for Ron Paul in any case because I'm an Australian. But if you do than I'll mourn for you as your nation infrastructure crumbles away, children remain uneducated, electricity becomes even less reliable and your rights shipped out to those of corporations.

  • @salamut2202 I like my freedom Ron Paul is the only one not trying to take it.If you dont vote Ron Paul you will get more of the same for the next four years.More wars and more of your rights taken away.

  • @Dethreid Do as I say not as I do...good defense. Doesn't paint him in too flattering a light. So his testimony helped his wife get money in a way he believed was against public policy. How about Gingrich criminalizing extramarital affairs?

  • Good thing Santorum is not winning.
