@drubekalb That being said, all good grapplers can agree to disagree. I do appreciate you watching and providing feedback, and I hope you check out the site.
Thanks!

@drubekalb I have to disagree with you about being misleading. I think it's pretty clear in the instruction that there's the "go to sleep" angle and then there's the correct defense. This certainly isn't a go-to escape for me, but rather one that I hit if my opponent has already taken my trapped arm across the body. The key here isn't the tightness of the triangle, but rather the blocking of his hip. If you can get him off the correct angle, then you can survive with this.

This escape is too... competition friendly.

I always get the MIR lock on me when trying to do this escape on an experienced guy.

No no! The best escape from a triangle - not to come across in it.)

This looks like a decent escape, I will give it a try over the next day or two & I will let you know now I get on with it..
tell what why do you try to on me in case ya didnt know when ya roll over to protect again the choke you are leaving a wide open window for KO or lot punch to head there is better more sure way to defend again it so simple out you the same he try put accoss and jsut bend it so you elbow is going to force in to croth so the hard he squeeze the more pressure he find being appied to him well let say jewels very painful alsoe by move forward ya keep him off

@thlegendishere2009 I've giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that English is not your first language. However, that being said- I have no idea what you are saying here. I guess you're gonna punch your opponent in the head (which in Submission Grappling is leaving you wide open for a DQ, not a KO), and then elbow him in the groin (bc your opponent isn't wearing protective equipment)?!?
Thanks for watching, and please check out the site.

I use this all the time as well....and works for me. This was the first Triangle escape I ever learned and is the only one I use. Thanks for posting the counter to this as well. I have been watching technique prevails for some time now. I want to say THANK YOU for all your contributions to the Martial Arts community. It is easy to take for granted all the hard work that goes into these videos. Okinawa, Japan
