In a nutshell, this is what Chinese New Year is like on the streets of China. Locals set off fireworks on literally every street corner of the city, climaxing around 12AM midnight on Lunar New Years Eve. Video taken right outside 佳信花园 on Huang Hua Road (黄桦路) in the Longbai area of Shanghai, about 10 minutes east of Shanghai's Hongqiao airport, just after midnight. Not only can you hear the fireworks upfront but you can hear hundreds (thousands) of fireworks going off in the distance.
