they shouldnt even have had the truck at the head of the fire anyway you suppose to fight brush fire from burned side of the fire anyway and lake of communication a big part plus this is also why the state of ny passed a sop not to ride on the out side of the firetrucks anyway!!!!!

In a few years Texas will be passing a law that says volunteers will have to have Fire Fighting Phases 1-4 to even be considered a basic FF. If that goes into effect that will devastate the VFD's statewide.
