Pijke plays a Russian folksong on mandolin.

Pijke a young mandolin student at the Centre for the Arts De Muzerie in Zwolle (Netherlands), plays 'Sascha', a Russian Traditional. The Muzerie in Zwolle is one of the very few Dutch Art Centres/Music schools where people can learn to play the mandolin. Both for adults and children (from c. 6 years old onwards) lessens are given in a yearly programm by mandolin/guitar teacher Alex Timmerman. Besides the 'normal' lesson every week there is also the possiblilit to join the Muzerie mandolin and guitar ensemble the 'Het Consortino'. The Ensemble rehearses once a week on Thursday evening and for this a certain playing level must have been reached.
