I recorded this for my own practice (5/29/11), in preparation for the LMC Seattle solo competition. Sorry for my poor French, and the random people and vehicles in the backgroud.... Here is the text
-S.J. Perse, Oiseaux 1962
"Ignorant of their shadow, knowing of death only that immortal part which is consumed in the distant clamor of great waters, they pass and leave us, and we are no longer the same. They are the space traversed by a single thought." -S.J. Perse, Birds 1962 (translation by Robert Fitzgerald)
