300 isn't a factual movie of the battle. They NEVER broke ranks and went sword to sword with anyone, it was all about the strength of the phallanx . . . shoulder to shoulder, strength of the rank.

EpslionBear Actually Viking's are fierce Nomads but Native Americans conquered the Vikings back in the mid 14 hundreds. All the East coast Natives used was flint arrow heads, flint weapons and wooden clubs. We had literally no armor... Vikings can't win every battle.

@GedankeFleisch i meant Spartans and Vikings had almost identical ideals and in both Greek and Norse cultures you find the custom of funeral pyre hence the title and the music seem fiting to me. DEATH IN FIREEEE!!!! \m/
