    Absolutely, but as you go higher up the ladder, you receive less explicit direction. You need to be able to create direction for yourself and your team of employees. How would you do that without doing a little investigation? Not to mention, presentations become more important as you get promoted. You need to be able to support your strategies to convince your bosses that you're on the right track.

  • Do you think some people can be a successful sales managers without doing any studies relating to sales but might have worked in retail sale with a good humor and managerial communication???
