gosh dunt lord street look long , ive lived in fleetwood all my life and im 25 its a fab town, nice to have seen that we got the lights last year lets hope we get them this year 2009

Thanks Katie. Yes it is a very long street for such a small town and we can't criss cross the lights across the street because of the tram track so we pay double for the two strings. There wasn't any money left for fancy bits last year. Hopefully when we put our buckets in the shops later this year everyone will make a good contribution. Aye it did look good. But Fleetwood is a town with serious problems. Although this did make it feel festive.

To all you negative posters, don't be so twattish. At least some people get off their arses and try to do nice things for the local community. I can't see why they would want to, when they're greeted with such nastiness and ingratitude. But then it wouldn't be Christmas without a few miserable scrooges to pour scorn on everything.
