Tell me, driving down a mountain with a 2 stroke-thottle closed- no problems lubricating?

is pilot jet enough?

And up hill, lots of heat, no cooling wind..

Hello,

when you are driving down two-stroke engine can't be used for braking. When I go down I often shift to neutral and let the engine get cooled. In my profile you can watch movie of my other CZ 250 from 1961 driving down from Edelweisspitze, Austria. These motorbikes go be quite fast :-)

Teda gratuluju, je videt, ze te to bavi. Taky bych rad vyjel alespon kousek. Preju hodne stastnejch a spolehlivejch kilometru v sedle nasich stroju.

then won't the brakes overheat and disable?

we wnet down on a diesel enfield, but were very lucky to have the brakeshoes with ferodo AM 4, a compund that's allowed to get hot..
