also, you can't base the fact that there was never a state called "Palestine" to the claim of Israel. It's a fact that the idea of nation-state developed first in Europe and only a few centuries ago. In fact, only after colonialism and the fall of the Ottoman empire was the area carved up by Europeans to nation-states. So this argument is invalid.

The Jews of the Middle East actually stayed there, and many converted to other popular religions that were there, like Christianity or Islam. So this "right of return" is not based on descendents of history, it's based on other people who took up Judaism, in another region
