Back in the day I sat next to her on a flight. Yeah, I managed to control my drooling ;) She impressed me as a truly nice, sweet lady with enchanting eyes and a terrific smile. Sittin' with me, a guy she'd never met, she made me feel like we were friends. She's got great, fun stories to tell. I think one reason we got on so well was that I'm not a fawning fan-type, nor am I part of "the industry". I'm sure she got tired of that stuff. Nice flight, lucky me. ;)

I agree with UZPeep. Miss Linda has and always be tops in my book. She was great also when she went into the Spanish/ Mexican love songs genre.

iM 62 years old and i'm telling you the bottom. In the 1970's 90% of all men in USA were in love with her. She is also a warm caring and not a pretentious person. She had everything. Look her up on Wiki. She was huge. One of the greatest voices in history! She took any song and made it her own. Even Sreisand, Cher and Madonna can say that.
