When a woman,irrespective or her age,sees abortion as just another form of contraception,then shame on her! I am NOT anti-abortion,but somewhere along the line,women need to take responsibility,& if that means not letting your b/f near you unless he agrees to use a condom,then so be it! Yes,of course there are always going to be situations where abortion is appropriate,that's a given.But surely,taking responsibility over your own womb is your primary concern when having sex.

@tjttzcspplt I looked it up and confect "to create something by combining different materials or items" - that is candy - sperm and eggs I do not see as "materials" - but I'm sure you would - as you have shown - you know everything!!! So I won't try - you already know that I am out of my league - so I will not waste my time - why should I - you already know it all!!!!  Keep hitting your head against different brick walls - and expecting different results!! THAT is STUPIDITY!!!

@Earthlinked It very much is a confection. Look up the word in the dictionary. I never said abortions were sought because a woman is stupid. Those are your words, not mine. If she is 16, and she cannot handle having a child, she should not be messing around with boys. And, don't even try to lecture me about why a woman gets an abortion. You are out of your league there, pal. Women certainly are coerced. I am intimately aware of such facts. It SUCKS that girls are put in that position.

@tjttzcspplt 1) Humans are NOT confected - candy is confected!! 2) You ASSUME that all abortions are because the woman is stupid. What if she is 16 - realizes that she is not ready for a child - should she AND THE CHILD be punnished for life for a mistake? And using abortion as birth control is 100% FALSE - it is just NOT done - it is a scare tactic!! But I see your point - you think all women are STUPID - cannot make their own decisions and must be "coerced" - I simply disagree!

@Earthlinked ...I described above has NEGATIVE consequences for one or more of the parties. There is such a thing as responsibility to others. Now, you choose not to accept this, then be prepared for negative spiritual and/or physical, psychological, and sociological consequences for yourself and whoever else is affected by it. Are ou saying we are all better off since we began dissing marriage and family? I see nothing but hearache, depression and self-centeredness whereever I go.

@Earthlinked Intercourse is SUPPOSED to be an act of love b/w two people who are committed to each other in such a way that it is a GOOD thing if a child ends up being confected. That's the idea. We all know what the sit. is when a girl seeks out an abortion. She is either coerced into it by the father or family member, or, she uses it for birth control There is no redeeming reason to deny a munchkin a chance to make it on this cruddy planet. Anything but the type of relationship...

@tjttzcspplt SO sex should be for procreation - and nothing else? It is NOT making love to you - it is making children??? IF you think this is a normal attitude - then good for me!!!! Sex is a physical showing of the love two people have for each other - and every time you have sex - you SHOULD NOT expect a child 9 months later!! I assume that you never take birth control pills - or force your lover to wear a condom - that would be wrong in your eyes?!?!??

@Earthlinked Yes, when a woman lays with a man, she is accepting this responsibility. And, yes, having a family is the most important and joyous thing a person can do, unless they choose not to for some reason. That is what intercourse is, contrary to the current pornified atmosphere we live in today. Yes, on your death bed you will wish you had children, or at least other family members. And, most people think like I do b/c that is the NORMAL attitude. You are the person with the prob.

@tjttzcspplt So you are saying that EVERY SINGLE time a woman has sex - she should expect to have a baby in 9 months? And she MUST define HER joy - based on her children - without children - she has no reason for living - so she was ONLY put here to be a baby factory? And she is never self reliant - she MUST have children to take care of her in her old age? And you think MY POV is twisted???? THAT is what is wrong with America today - too many people think as you do!!!!!!!
