DC Fashion Week kickoff 2011 at Kellari Taverna

's kickoff reception will be held Monday, February 21 at the Kellari Taverna Greek restaurant in Washington, D.C. Fashionistas, designers, vendors, buyers, and journalists will gather for the Fashion Industry Networking Party on Thursday at Tabaq Bistro on Washington, D.C.'s historic U Street corridor.

DC Fashion Week will continue with the Washington Menswear Collection. That event will be held at the Washington Post Conference Center.

The finale of DC Fashion Week will be the International Couture Show Sunday at the Embassy of France, Washington, D.C.

"The finale showcase will feature more than 100 diverse models who are happy to wear original creations from around the world," Williams said. "The event will also attract an eclectic mix of vendors, more than 50 media outlets, a team taping a reality television show and the 'Glam Squad,' my hand-selected team of top makeup and hair stylists who transform the models into visual art."
